Boredom

Wow I havent been here for a while..... I stumbled onto my own blog and started reading the past entries. Its weird reading what I wrote a little less than a year ago.
I decided Im going to start blogging again, but just as a simple journal - a method of just getting my thoughts and my feelings out there.
This is the first time in a while where I can actually sit down and sift through my thoughts and hear myself think long enough to put this down in words.
My summer has been a whirlwind of activities, the way I love my life, but as school starts once again, I can sit down and have some quiet time with myself.
I really find it the hardest thing to be to just be quiet. Let's see how this goes.

Growing up sucks....

Well sort of... I havent blogged in ages and I doubt anyone checks my page at all, but I just need to let out some thoughts that have been accumulating in my brain and taking up precious study-material brain space. Not to mention that this is a great way to procastinate from studying for finals!
So Ive been in Ottawa for almost an entire school year now.... time really flies. I finally got the taste of university... how painful! haha I cant believe we voluntarily sign up and PAY to be tortured this way! I mean there are a LOT of things they dont tell you during open house... like how dumb you feel amongst people that are so smart you'd think this is their second degree... wait it IS their second degree! I mean I love the fact that I didnt have to do an undergraduate program before enrolling in law school, but now I sorta see why you would WANT to do that... I mean, when it comes to comprehension, it really shows. Or how the library will become your second home, and to get a spot in that coveted reading room, you will have to come early and stand in line waiting for the library to open. I kid you not... a line-up for the library! (Yes, I do realize how sad this sounds...). Or how your course load consists of 6 classes each semester for the first 2 years and you're somehow supposed to do extracurricular activities.
I dont know if others feel this way, but I feel like Im always at the bottom of the food chain. I somehow pictured my future full of bright and exciting possibilities. The truth is, as a first year student, not only do I not have enough experience or credentials to do anything I actually love, I basically take whatever I can get. So it ends up Im doing something I dont really love, hoping it'll be an investment for the future. I am grateful for the opportunity, but I just feel like Im not doing what I love yet.... and I have to wait... and make "responsible" choices for my future. Its so frustrating....having to settle....sigh. Anyhow, I guess I shouldnt be complaining... things could be much worst.

Ok so I know I havent updated in over a month... but after this weekend I just have to post up some pictures after the GREAT weekend I had! :) It was Tim and Ange's wedding and the whole day although extremely busy was absolutely beautiful and magical.

In Taiwan...

Ok so very very small update of this blog, cause my readers ( micah) seem to think that I dont update. Well all is well in taiwan and Im getting A LOT of stuff for really cheap... pictures and longer blog will follow in uh... well I dunno since I move to ottawa right after I come back to Montreal. In the mean time:

- I miss my boyfriend....!!

- I got a Lacoste polo and really cheap nice shoes

- 50 First Dates is such a good movie!

- Micah stinks.

- The food is amazing, and I really have to stop eating so muuuchhh..!

- The bubble tea is actually NOT as great as I thought it would be! who woulda thought?

- Seeing old friends and family is really great..

- Did I mention I miss my boyfriend???? mouahs

I hate Dentists....

So I had my very long overdue dentist appointment today. And even though I went through dental surgery hell approximately a year ago, I was still totally terrified to get back on that chair to get a clean up. I know... Im the BIGGEST chicken when it comes to dentist.. I think its the sounds, and the smells and not knowing what on earth what they're sticking in your mouth. I was sooo stressed as they were cleaning mostly because of the sharp drilling noise and how hot the instrument got when it touched my lips. Ugh.

In the middle of the cleaning, I was thinking how I hate dentists... and about Micah who is a future dentists.... and about how hes going to inflict so much pain to others ( with good intentions tho) and then the dentist says to me " I hope you dont hate me for doing this" HAHAHA how did he know what I was thinking???!! Crazyyyyyy!! I just laughed... or snorted... or made whatever sound I could while having the suction thing and two other instruments in my mouth.... thats another thing... I hate when they talk to you knowing perfectly well that you're in absolutely no position to talk back.....argh dentists....!!
